Built in 1908, this freshly renovated property is one of the Hess Snyder mansions. This building and the adjacent home were built for each of the Snyder’s two children. The Hess Snyder Company was established in Massillon, Ohio and specialized in manufacturing stoves, furnaces and pumps. In 1968, the Hess Snyder factory caught fire, one of the largest in the city’s history.
For this project, The Durable Slate Company crews replaced all the rusted flashings and flat roofs with copper, replaced the tar patch and performed a slate repair throughout the roof.
