Springfield, MO features a delightful mix of different residential building styles throughout the city, including some beautiful Victorian and Queen Anne-style homes. And while slate roofs are less common in Springfield than other American cities, there are numerous stand-out examples of incredible roofing work, such as this new mansion (which is one of the top ten largest single family homes in America.)
For this magnificent new home, The Durable Slate Company installed Vermont 4-Color Blend with lead coated copper flashings and copper gutters. For the lead-coated copper gutters, some were built-in box gutters, while the rest were double walled. In total, we installed 27 collector heads!
We also installed copper standing seam roofing throughout the structure, including on some conical and radial surfaces; a challenging job with absolutely stunning results.
