Built in 1764, Trinity Chapel Clock Tower is an incredible architectural gem of Downtown Frederick. The Durable Restoration Company is looking forward to being a part of this ongoing restoration effort.

For over 260 years, Trinity Chapel has stood tall as one of the most prominent historical structures in downtown Frederick, Maryland. The oldest and most striking part of the structure is the tower, which dates back to 1764. In the 1790s, the tower's iconic clock was added to help the townspeople of Frederick keep track of time. The Durable Restoration Company is honored to contribute to the ongoing preservation of this historic structure.
The project's scope will include repair and restoration of the Spire, Lantern, Clock, and Belfry due to significant deterioration, structural repair and reinforcement of wood columns, replacement of the lower slate roof section, and dormer repairs.
This restoration project will give the building many more years of life than it faces today. By using appropriate restoration methods in compliance with the Frederick Historic Preservation Commission, we will ensure that not only does the deterioration halt, but also that our methods and materials do not bring any harm to the historic fabric of the building.
As The Durable Restoration Company restores the Trinity Chapel Clock Tower, the community can look forward to the revival of this architectural gem.
